The Nokia 3110 Evolve

Now, after my discussion about the 3110c, perhaps it's high time that we proceed to the next topic.

First of all, I'd like to thank all my friends who had given constructive comments about my bl0g, although many had expressed some disappointments that I only concentrated on one model only.

Well, fret no more! Since now I am proud to introduce to you the Nokia 3110 Evolve.

Now, now, before you guys roll you eyes in exasperation, I AM introducing a new product.

The 3110 Evolve is Nokia's answer to environmental groups who are concerned about the company's usage of materials that are destructive and depleting to Nature. With the use of recycled materials, and a more efficient charger, Nokia is hoping to help in saving the earth.

Why don't you take a look at the specifications be?

Features of the Nokia 3110 Evolve include:

  • 1.3 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom
  • Video recorder
  • Display: TFT, 262,000 colours, 128 x 160 pixels
  • Stereo MP3 player (MP3, MP4, AAC, AAC+, enhanced AAC+ formats, DRM 2.0)
  • FM radio
  • MP3 ringtones / 64-voice polyphonic ringtones
  • Integrated handsfree speaker
  • Voice features: Push to talk, Enhanced voice dialing, Voice commands, Voice recording

  • Size: 109 x 46 x 16 mm
  • Weight: 87g
  • Talktime: 4 hours
Although it does seem to have no difference from the 3110c, it does take pride in its environment-friendly feature, mainly:
  • Uses bio-covers created from more than 50% renewable materials
  • The packaging is smaller and uses 60% recycled materials
  • The battery charger minimises the no load energy consumption in case you forget to unplug it from the power socket
What do you think? If we're planning to stop global warming, then this could be the next big thing.
